Falc charity walk for rfds oceans to outback
French à la Carte is walking this October to keep the Flying Doctor flying! Under our wonderful teacher Odile's initiative, join us for a walk around Narrabeen Lagoon and help us raise funds during Oceans to Outback to support the delivery of life-saving care to those living in regional, rural and remote communities across Australia. Meeting point is at 10am at the basketball field next to Tramshed café. Distance: 8.6km one way Time: 2-3 hours If you can't make it to the walk, join us for coffee at Tramshed café at 12.30pm Dont forget to sponsor us - Merci beaucoup !Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.
This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to our challenge today!
