Day #1
Today started strong with a 5.7KM run during lunch break to Point Moore lighthouse, which was the first all steel tower built on the mainland of Australia (construction started in 1887) and is the oldest surviving Western Australian lighthouse under Federal control.@GeroPlanes is supporting the RFDS again this year
Team @GeroPlanes is supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service again this year by participating in Oceans to Outback.
After a successful campaign in 2023, raising over $2000 and stepping hundreds of KM for the RFDS, we are excited to lace up our sneakers and do our part again in October.
The RFDS is a critical service for Geraldton and surrounding towns and stations, receiving hundreds of RFDS PC12 and PC24 flights per year for emergency and critical care transport to Perth, which is over 400 KM away.Â
