Superb weather conditions in Moonta Bay on day 2 of the OTO challenge. Courtney completed a 6.5km run around the town, whilst Tara & Jaime enjoyed a stunning sunset walk with their kids & furbabies totaling 3km each. Kelly was busy flying to destination holiday - she will be tackling many cycling km's over the next week in the sunshine state!! Madi had a rest day but is ready to smash out some more kms towards the end of the week!!

We are all on track for reaching our individual goals for the month. We would like to thank everyone for your kind & generous donations towards this wonderful service!

Day 1

Oceans to Outback team SAAS Moonta is off to an amazing start.

Courtney kicked off day 1 of the challenge with a 6km run around Moonta, Jaime and Madison also running their way through this challenge smashing a 5km run and 3km run around Moonta Bay & Henley Esplanade!! Tara was the early bird that started with a 4km sunrise walk around Moonta Bay and Kelly with a 13km indoor cycle cheered on by her partner & daughter!!!

As a team we are blown away with the support we have received and have already reached our initial goal of $3,ooo. So now we have decided to set the bar a little higher $$$.

We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, we're taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please donate to our challenge today!
