I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service

I remember watching "Flying Doctors" or "Doktorn kan komma" as a kid back in Sweden. I always thought it was amazing that someone would live in places where there is nothing, including doctors, around. The closest we have in sweden of course is doctors on boast in the archipelago and naturally rescue helicopters. Nothing really compares to the vastness if the Australian outback. Australia is a big country, and for those living in remote, rural and regional areas, access to immediate care isn’t a guarantee. For some communities, the nearest hospital is eight hours drive away.

This October, I’m taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need. By going further, I hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

Every year, the RFDS reach more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services. That’s one person every two minutes!

To help preserve my childhood memories and let "Mike Sierra Foxtrot" day in the air, please be generous!

So far this year
I’ve helped provide...

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. ding
