I'm fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
The RFDS is the difference between life or death for us. With living so remote the RFDS gives us the reassurance and support we need to know that someone is always there and able to help us in times of need. Earlier this year my employer needed the RDFS 3 times within 2 weeks following the birth of her beautiful baby girl and unexpected bleeding. Without the RFDS we believe that things would be very different and we wouldn’t still have her here today.
Our team at Mount Doreen are proudly supporting the RFDS by walking 81kms in the Oceans to Outback Challenge to raise money for this service that continues to provide us with the help we need at our most vulnerable times.
So far this year
I’ve helped provide...
14
Laryngoscopes – used to assist in intubating and ventilating a patient.
9
Life-saving medical chests for a remote, rural or regional community.
8
Defibrillator Pads – used with a machine to monitor a patient’s cardiac health.
