🚁 Fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctors Service 🚁

In 2009, my husband Ben broke both of his wrists in a motorbike accident, he had to be flown from Aramac to Rockhampton for surgery. Then, in 2010 - he shattered both of his feet, resulting in the need for surgery again - the RFDS was there, ready and waiting. In 2015, after I had our second child, Marley, I was flown to Rocky from Longreach due to a severe internal infection. In 2018, I had my gallbladder removed, but things took a dangerous turn—I experienced internal bleeding, losing over two litres of blood inside my stomach. Thanks to the Royal Flying Doctor jet, I was flown to Townsville just in time, and it truly saved my life. They have also flown Marley to Rockhampton numerous times due to her breathing difficulties. 

Now, I’m giving back by fundraising for the incredible service that saved us more than once. I’m aiming to raise $500 on my own and $1,000 as a team. If you can help by joining my team to walk alongside me or by donating, I would be so grateful.
