150km

Hello friends!

I'm excited to be back for the second time, fundraising for the RFDS! This year, I've set an even bigger goal of walking 150km, all in the hope of raising as much as possible to support those in remote, rural, and regional areas in accessing essential healthcare services.

With your help, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and ensure their life-saving work continues. I would be so grateful for any contribution you can make to my challenge today!

Thank you :)

So far this year

My Updates

Day at the zoo

Wednesday 23rd Oct
Almost a tradition now that I visit the zoo at least once a year. This year I got to meet this gigantic giraffe named Jimmiyu. He's 21 years old and very well trained to look at the camera!

Exploring the Paradise Pool

Monday 7th Oct
As you all know, I've made countless trips to Linden over the years for stargazing, but this was my first venture down to Paradise Pool. It's a short walk from the station, but your knees might not appreciate... You'll be rewarded though with a serene swimming hole framed by steep cliffs on one side and a little sandy beach on the other. The water is crisp, refreshing, and deep enough for a bold jump from the rock above. Worth a visit if you're ever in the area.

Wandering around the gardens in Leura & Wentworth Falls

Monday 7th Oct
Each year, I look forward to the Leura Gardens Festival, and once again, it did not disappoint. I love the cool freeze when stepping off the train, mixed with the fresh scent of spring bloom and pine trees. Between admiring the views and catching my breath, I clocked 12km today! The photos can never do them justice, but here is my best attempt at one.
