When my parents retired, they decided they'd had enough of the city lifestyle and moved to rural Australia to enjoy some of the beauty and peace the country brings. They'd always joke about the closest civilisation only being a plane ride away! As a pilot myself, I am extremely passionate about using aviation to benefit people like my parents.

Millions of Australians live away from the major population centres and as such rely on services such as the RFDS to provide emergency transportation.
