We're fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service
Australia is a vast country, and for those living in remote, rural, and regional areas, access to immediate medical care isn’t always guaranteed. In some communities, the nearest hospital is an eight-hour drive away, making timely healthcare a critical challenge.
This October, The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) Transition to Professional Practice Program (TPPP) Team is taking on a month-long fitness challenge to help more people access the care they need.
By going the extra mile, we hope to raise as much as possible for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Every year, the RFDS reaches over 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary healthcare services—one person every two minutes!
As a team dedicated to serving rural and remote communities, we understand firsthand the importance of reliable healthcare access. Many of us have seen the impact that the RFDS has on lives, and we want to do our part to support this vital service.
Together, we can keep the Flying Doctor flying and continue their life-saving work. Please consider donating to my challenge today! Your support will make a real difference for those who need it most. Thank you!
